Mine detection system - Towed underwater system for mine detection

This towed vehicle features two side scan sonars. It allows rapid environment assessment at the entrance of harbours, route and channel exploration in the context of Mine Warfare.

This very performant system is capable of maintaining the same altitude at high speed while controlling pitch and roll.
Two systems have been sold in 2000 to a European Navy.
