Pesée GBII - Weighing system

ECA has been awarded by CNIM a contract to supply the weighting system used by the uranium enrichment process of the GBII plant (located in Pierrelatte – France). The main feature of the weighting system is related to the metrological specifications:

• Operational temperature: - 25 °C and +65 °C


• Accuracy: 3 Kg for 3 Tonnes and 10 Kg for 15 Tonnes


• Housing mechanical characteristics :




• Vertical compliancy


• Horizontal compliancy


• Restoring force for the stability of the system
